1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Brittle Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Tilt on Android or iOS. It applies to the Tilt mobile application with the package identifier studio.brittle.tilt.

2. Information handled by Tilt

Device motion

Tilt reads motion-sensor data, such as accelerometer and gyroscope measurements, to translate the physical angle of your phone into marble movement. These readings are processed in real time on your device. We do not store them or send them to our servers or to Firebase.

Gameplay progress

Tilt stores gameplay information locally on your device. This can include completed lessons and levels, star ratings, completion times, the next available level, and whether an instruction has already been shown. On Android, if you sign in to Google Play Games, Tilt also stores this progress in a Play Games Saved Game so it can be restored and synchronized across your compatible devices. Brittle Studio does not receive this progress in its own account system or server.

Google Play Games profile

On Android, Google Play Games Services may process your Play Games player identity, authentication status, and saved-game data to provide sign-in and cloud synchronization. Your use of Play Games is also governed by your Google account settings and Google’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

Remote level configuration

Tilt uses Google Firebase Remote Config to retrieve lesson and level content. When this feature is used, Firebase processes a Firebase-generated app installation identifier so it can return the appropriate configuration to the app. As with ordinary internet communication, Google may also process technical service data such as an IP address and app or device request information.

Visits to this policy

This page is delivered through Firebase Hosting. Firebase Hosting may process IP addresses from incoming requests to provide and protect the hosting service. This page does not use cookies, analytics, JavaScript, advertising, or tracking pixels.

Tilt does not currently use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising services, location services, or a Brittle Studio player account. Android cloud progress is provided by Google Play Games Services.

3. How information is used

The limited information described above is used only to:

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell personal information.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use Google Firebase for Remote Config and Google Play Games Services for Android authentication and Saved Games. Google processes the associated technical, player, and saved-game data under its applicable terms. These services may process data on infrastructure in multiple countries.

You can learn more from Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service.

5. Retention and deletion

Gameplay progress remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage through your device settings or uninstall Tilt. If Play Games cloud synchronization is active, a copy may remain associated with your Play Games profile after local app data is cleared or Tilt is uninstalled. You can manage or delete Play Games data through your Google Play Games or Google account settings.

Firebase retains installation identifiers according to its published retention practices. You may remove the app and contact us if you have a privacy or deletion question related to Tilt.

6. Security

Tilt uses platform storage protections for local gameplay data and encrypted HTTPS connections when communicating with Firebase and Google Play Games Services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the app.

7. Children’s privacy

Tilt does not require an account and does not knowingly request or collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in connection with Tilt, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Your choices and rights

You can clear locally stored progress through your device’s app-storage controls and manage Play Games data through your Google account or Play Games settings. Uninstalling Tilt stops the app from handling additional information, but does not by itself delete a cloud save held by Google. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. You can contact us to ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable right.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Tilt’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date at the top of the page.
